Let's have a look at what's making news around the world this week in Masatima Construction Land, and the big news this week is that Australian company built in joint venture with Obayashi Corporation out of Japan has been selected to deliver the Atlassian Central Project with Texas and Atlassian. The 39 level premium grade tower will be a global first and in australia the largest hybrid building, until, of course, it gets knocked off by another hybrid building. In australia, and after a global due diligence process, weehag has been selected as the supplier with over 12 000 cubic meters of glulam and clt. The clt will be coming from store enzo, so congratulations to those manufacturers who will have very busy manufacturing plants for the 180 meter high hybrid commercial tower and woods bagger. An australian slash international firm, in cooperation with miller hull partnership, has been selected to support the seattle tacoma international sea concourse expansion. It is highlighted that it will be in the top 100 green design firms and contractors, showcasing project sustainability and innovations and leadership in green design. The project is the first to apply the Port of Seattle's new sustainable project framework and the expansion is aiming for LEED V4 Silver. With a building size of 226,000 square feet, the canopy will generate around 15 15 of the green building's energy needs and the concourse design connects travelers with the pacific northwest through its materially framed outdoor views, public art and bustling marketplace at the heart.

If you'd like to go and see some amazing concept designs for this amazing project, please head to our linkedin feed. And swedish architectural firm white architecture has completed an observation tower, carbon, which is constructed from a network of timber beams resembling a bundle of twisted straws situated within a nature reserve. A 12 meter high, 7 meter wide tower by wire architecture is a hyboloid constructed composition with 140 beams combined with metal rings. If you want to have a look at this amazing image of this colloid tower, please head to our linkedin feed. And UC Berkeley's Undergraduate Academy building will emerge from 2026 with a new mass timber building. The building will house 27 classrooms, letters and science advising and a state-of-the-art 400-seat auditorium with a lush rooftop terrace overlooking Strawberry Creek. It will also be the first building on the campus that's constructed using mass timber or engineered wood. Mass timber is a cutting edge lighter, safer, more energy efficient alternative to traditional construction materials, and we are so pleased that Berkeley has decided to use this technology. If you'd like to have a look at the concept drawings and design drawings they are impressive. Head to our LinkedIn feed drawings and design drawings they are impressive. Head to our linkedin feed.

And music works has adopted cross-laminated timber as a hybrid construction solution for its north hall, for the handsome risd dormitory, which will be 25 000 square feet. Located at 1326 westminster street, this inspirational architectural building was dedicated on September 28 this year by 3SIXO Architecture and is the culmination of three decades of labor by the CMW's founder and artistic director, sebastian Ruth. He began as a Brown undergraduate with a small grant and a vision of offering music classes and performances to the Providence's underserved neighborhoods. The success of MusicWorks' teaching, mentoring and community program has been uplifting and was recognized by the National Arts and Humanity Youth Program award in 2010.
